At our café, you can indulge in freshly baked treats made right on the premises, including a variety of cheesecakes, filled flatbreads (rieska), Marianne chocolate cake, traditional butter-eye buns, and Brita cake. Later in the summer, we will also be serving delicious salmon soup for lunch. The daily selection varies slightly, so there are always new delicacies to discover and enjoy.
We cater to various dietary requirements by offering both gluten-free and vegan options. You can enjoy your treats in our cozy and spacious outdoor courtyard, which features plenty of seating for relaxing together and soaking up the summer days.
Located right next to the café in a cozy, shaded woodland setting, the Pehtoori Burger Truck serves mouthwatering burger meals complete with crispy fries. Our menu offers something for everyone, featuring vegetarian burgers as well as dedicated meals for children. Burgers can also be ordered with a gluten-free bun.
In addition to traditional french fries, you can treat yourself to sweet potato fries for a flavorful twist. Come and enjoy a delicious burger in a beautiful, natural environment!
In the spring of 2024, we opened a flatbread pizzeria at the Lumijoki Lännentila experience farm, and it quickly became the star attraction of our experience center. At the Flatbread Pizzeria, our pizzas are crafted on top of soft potato flatbreads from Lännentila Bakery. This unique pizza crust creates a one-of-a-kind flavor experience that you can now enjoy here in an authentic countryside setting.
At our kiosk, you will find delicious Finnish liquorice laces (metrilaku) and refreshing scooped ice cream. Our liquorice flavors include cocoa-filled, apple, strawberry, raspberry twist, sour raspberry, and sour strawberry.
Our scooped ice cream selection features many favorite flavors, such as Dumle liquorice, salted caramel & almond croquant, Daim, old-fashioned vanilla & cloudberry, strawberry, double chocolate oat, mint chocolate, old-fashioned vanilla, Tutti Frutti, and pear. Especially on warm summer days, our ice cream cones are the perfect refreshing treat.
Please note that the selection of liquorice and ice cream flavors varies based on availability, and all flavors may not be available every day. However, we strive to keep the selection diverse and delicious throughout the entire season.
At the Haltiala Farm Waffle Shack, you can enjoy both savory and sweet waffles. For a savory treat, choose between smoked salmon or ham fillings. For those with a sweet tooth, we offer waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, as well as a delicious Nutella and whipped cream combination.
Waffles are also available as vegan options, and gluten-free waffles will be added to the selection soon. Come and enjoy fresh waffles in a charming country milieu and find your personal favorite!
The Haltiala Farm Shop will open on June 15th, or by the last day of June at the very latest. The shop will sell various seasonal produce as it ripens: Lännentila strawberries, onions, peas, potatoes, raspberries, and cauliflower. The shop will also carry Lännentila Bakery's famously renowned flatbread (rieska), as well as eggs, tea, coffee, honey, and more.
